5-year-old Wei Wei is alone with her gorilla Ling Ling after her grandfather dies in China. Her grandfather ran a circus troupe. Thanks to her grandfather's love for baseball, the gorilla Ling Ling has been trained to baseball games and has developed remarkable strike skills. A South Korean baseball player named Sung Choong-Soo hears about the remarkable gorilla Ling Ling. He signs Ling Ling to play professional South Korean baseball league.
Wei Wei and Ling Ling dream of success in South Korea. Ling Ling is fast becoming a superstar in the baseball league. In the meantime, a baseball team discovers a gorilla called Rating. The comedy film is based on Heo Yeong-Man's comic "The 7th Team".
