In the narrow streets of the neighborhood of Changsin lives an old woman. The name of the old woman is So-Sun, which literally means "little fairy". She has a big, warm heart. Since her son Jeon Tae-Il passed away, So-Sun spends her time with neighbors who are suffering. The movie "Mother" accompanies the old woman over two years and her meeting with the stage actors, who play the play "Mother, Goodbye". The game "Mother, goodbye" tells the story of Jeon Tae-Il and his mother Lee So-Sun before the day Jeon Tae-Il burns.
