The Jingbirok: A Memoir of the Imjin War

The drama tells historical events with the scholar as a central character. Ryu Seong Ryong was an official who served during the reign of King Seon Jo in the late 16th century. He was a brilliant Confucian scholar who was responsible for military operations during the Imjin War and strongly influenced Admiral Lee Soon Shin. The story begins before the Imjin war and will follow the characters all the way through the Battle of Noryang and the death of Lee Soon Shin.
