War of Love

Yoo Min grew up with simple values in the countryside. When he enters the college after one-year preparation, he begins his studies with a passionate attitude. While working part-time in a cafe during summer vacation, he meets Charlie Brown, a cosmopolitan young man who introduces Yoo Min to the world of women and sex. As he begins to get used to the city, he receives a bundle of letters from his mother, letters that were written by his girlfriend Sook Yi. But when he meets free-spirited Na Na during a play rehearsal, he begins to ignore Sook Yi's letters. Charlie begins to feel alienated from Yoo Min and advises him to return to his true self and disappears out of his life. Yoo Min takes Charlie's advice and breaks up with Na Na to return to Sook Yi. But when he returns home to find her, he discovers that she has already gotten engaged to someone else. Yoo Min, with full of regret and sorrow, boards the train back to the city.
