The arthouse filmmaker Goo does not seem to be a hit, but at least the critics love him. He goes to Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province to direct the film festival there, but the usual practice for jurors is to cuddle during the day, drink at night, and sleep through movies. He encounters an old friend Boo Sang-yong in the city and drinks until he faints, but before he seriously insults his friend's wife.
After this Jecheon, Goo goes to Jeju Island to give a lecture at college. There he meets with a former mentor who, as it turns out, is now married to Goo's former lover
