A young man, Yang Han-Kook, appears in a small Chinese restaurant, Beijing Ban-Jeum. He is a son of the restaurant president, Hans childhood friends, from China. President Han promised to run one of the best Chinese restaurants with his friend (Han-Kook's father) after learning how to cook jajang-myeon (a Chinese soy sauce noodle) in China. He falls into his old memory, sees the kitchen knife and A pot of Chinese soy sauce in Han-Kook's hand. Han-Kook decides to follow President Han's dream. One day, Han realizes that the chef uses caramel and a chemical spice to make Chinese soy sauce.
He is shocked by this fact and lies sick in bed. He decides to close his restaurant. Mi-Rae, Hans's daughter and a manager of a western restaurant is also depressed in this message. Han-Kook goes alone to the abandoned restaurant and decides to collect separate employees of the restaurant. They are doing everything to restore Beijing Ban-Jeum. The restaurant becomes popular again thanks to its delicious jajang myeon and other hearty dishes.
