Sang Woo is a 38-year-old HIV-positive man who lives with his mother in a small hut. His 60-year-old mother started working as a prostitute to support herself and her son out of her small shed. In the meantime, Sang Woo works as a pimp - collects payments and arranges appointments with his cell phone. Their customers include a paraplegic and soldiers on vacation.
Living through the difficult situation, Sang Woo still has a strong bond with his mother. Sang Woo also contains intense anger. His father left her and then married again into a seemingly normal family. In fact, his father married a woman who is a religious fanatic, and her son always locks himself in his room. Sang Woo often meets with his daughter (step-sister) for a drink outside a Buddhist temple. Can Sang Woo ever find a way out for himself and his mother?
