After realizing that his wife has cheated on him, modest stamp maker Tae Han leaves his small coastal town of Naksan, which is determined to find his wife's lover, a Seoul taxi driver named Jung Shik. In one of the most violent heat waves ever recorded, he travels to the city where he successfully finds his destination and hires him for a long taxi ride to Naksan. How they drive On the highway, Tae Han refrains from disclosing his secret to his new rival, and an unlikely connection between the two men develops. As they make their way along a series of unexpected detours, Tae Han has plenty of time to rethink his underhand plans as the similarities and differences between the two men emerge.
