Busan in 1978. Gil Yong, an experienced detective, received a special request from the parents of a missing child, Eun Joo, to investigate her case. As the clever kidnapper escapes the police, the case becomes more and more of a mystery. When Joong San, the soothsayer, foretells the whereabouts of Eun Joo, people listen to what he says as the situation gets desperate without a comment on Eun Joo. He also says Gil Yong is the only one who can save her. Since no one is to be trusted, Gil Yong and Joong San use all means to close the kidnapper. This movie is the 33-day record in which two men went through hell to find a missing girl and bring her back home alive.
