Synopsis Korean Movie Modern Family

In good company
Chulwoo, an editor of the company newspaper, should dismiss a colleague. She is outraged about unfair dismissal and explains a strike with other employees. With the upcoming date of the newspaper, Chulwoo tries to convince the strikers to stop. In the meantime, Chulwoo's pregnant wife goes to kindergarten. He throws away his work and runs to the hospital.

In 2030, KIM was Inah, a 39-year-old single woman. One day a strange girl is waiting in front of her house. The girl asks Inah as a legal guardian, claiming she is her birth mother. Inah remembers selling her eggs to repay her student loans in the past. The girl blackmails Inah that she'll put everything on the net, but Inah decides to fight back.

Sangwoo, a forty-year-old man who recently lost his job, does not let his wife know about the job. He kills time by driving in a subway all day. One day, he collides with a homeless woman holding a baby to raise money. He remembers his own baby arriving soon, and starts to worry. He sees the woman beg, who passes the baby as a prop to another homeless man. He argues with her, but only becomes embarrassed.

Star-shaped spot
One year after the death of her daughter at the kindergarten summer camp, a woman attends a memorial service with other parents who have lost their children. Memories that have been closed after the accident are brought back to life, and she believes that her daughter is "missed" by the nonsense of a man. After a long search, she finds a videotape containing "star-shaped spots" that only her daughter and her remember.
