Yeong Mi, a high school student, applies for a prestigious school as her parents' wish, but she does not. As she wanders in despair, she encounters the Lotus Sutra, which belongs to her father, and begins a spiritual journey in which she witnessed her father Tae Min being hit by the car her mother Eun Hye drove. Since then, her romantic relationship continues a crisis because Jin Woo struggles to win the love of Eun Hye. Yeong Mi helps them get together and returns to the present in 1986. She is greeted by a new life and enters a college of her choice.
