Jeong Ho, a head of a large family, including the elderly mother, Ms. Kim, and six children, has difficulty in supporting his family with arthritis due to his crippled body. To help her father, Hwang Suk helps her mother with the day-to-day work as she becomes a sailor's wife fishing on a boat. When Jeong Ho goes to Cheju Island to find a job, Hwang Suk goes fishing Boat with her brother Min Su. When her father returns unexpectedly, her boat is disposed of. Police officer Jeong buys a 0.9-ton boat for Hwang Suk, who is disappointed. It overcomes difficulties such as engine problems and comes back with fish. In the end, she pays the debt to Jeong.
