A young man named Gu-ho (Kim Seung-woo), who is more than a little bit tipsy, and his two friends Hyeon-nam (Jeong Hyeon-woo) and his girlfriend Do-kyung (Park Eun-suk) are accidentally a young boy Shut down the girl (Yun Mi-jo) while driving home from a bar. The car's impact is so severe that her body is literally thrown in the air and she is knocked unconscious. In the time-honored horror film tradition (just like in In the opening episodes of Shutter or Ju-on: The Grudge 2 (both this movie is several years older), Gu-ho wants to take the girl to a hospital, but Hyeon-nam tries to persuade him to leave her at the scene as a hit-and-miss -Run back.
As they decide, the girl opens her eyes - and something very strange happens between her and Gu-ho. Finally, he decides not to let her go and run and decides to take her to the hospital the next day. The driver looks in their pockets for ID and finds a keychain with a picture key ring on which a girl with a friend of the same age and a gold ring are hidden in a handkerchief. He also discovers her name: Mi-jo.
Meanwhile, after returning to work after leaving the sleeping girl in his apartment, Gu-ho begins both auditory and visual hallucinations, which disturb him greatly.
After a hospital visit, it turns out that Mi-jo suffered amnesia from the accident - but that's all she's suffered. Not even a bruise showing that she was blown up by a car, which totally upsets Gu-ho. He realizes that he has to take responsibility for the girl because he can not explain to anyone who he is and how he came to deal with her, and he takes her back to his apartment.
