Song Yoon Ah portrays Yeon Ju, a shy young girl who secretly falls in love with her platonic friend Woo Jae. Her shyness often defeats her, and she can only stand by and watch as Woo Jae suffers a broken heart from his ex-girlfriend and is consequently thrown out of the school's crew team for the ensuing recruitment problem. Later, while Woo Jae is In the army, Yeon Ju visits him and hopes to spend the night with him. Unfortunately, Woo Jae, just like when she was at school, is not interested in her intentions and a disappointed Yeon Ju goes home.
Years later, we meet with Yeon Ju to find out she's now a divorced veterinarian in a local clinic, while ironically Woo Jae is a high school crew crew. The two meet again, and the certainty of romance between them seems inevitable, as the once unsuspecting Woo Jae warms the idea of being with Yeon Ju. But after he finally moves, Woo Jae growls out of a relationship and visibly frustrated Yeon Ju decides it's finally time to move on. When Woo Jae finally realizes the enormity of his mistake and his love for Yeon Ju, he follows her. But with a potential new friend in her life, is it too late?
