"Come closer," deals with the broken relationships of five different couples.
Su Jin (Kim Hyo Seo) works in a cafe. On a slow evening without customers in the café, she receives a phone call from a Polish man in Holland looking for his ex-girlfriend. Su Jin tells him she has time to listen.
Hye Young (Yozoh) is the singer of a rising indie band, Ju Young (Yoon) Hee Seok) is the guitarist. People often confuse the two with friend and girlfriend.
Young Soo (Oh Chang Suk) brings along a girl named Se Yun (Yeom Bo Ra) after a night of drinking. The girl admires the erotic comics that he draws. She asks him about the rumor that he is gay. Young Soo answers, if there are rumors, then it must be true. They then kiss.
Hyun Oh (Yun Gye Sang) drives his car from a parking lot on a rainy evening. Out of nowhere his ex-girlfriend Eun Hee (Jung Yu Mi) is standing in front of his car. She then gets into his car.
The young Soo lies on the couch in his apartment in turmoil. His friend Woon Chul (Jang Seo Won) comes home after a night with friends. Young Soo tells him he leaves him for a girl ...
