Suh Hee is left behind by her mother as a small child in an orphanage. She grows up in the orphanage and comes close to Sae Joon, the son of the orphanage director. The director turns against her son, who is with Suh Hee, and kicks Suh Hee out of the orphanage just before leaving school. Suh Hee has to survive alone in the outside world. Sae Joon loves it Suh Hee despite the objections of his mother.
