Sung Gyoo and Doo Tae are people in their mid 30s.
While suffering from the extreme hardships of life, they accidentally participate as commanders in a major escape over Incheon to Dok-do. They begin a long journey of 14 nights and 15 days and insult the parents of the young members that their children are sick and want to earn their living. The steaming August weather and the difficult journey begin slowly to change the survivors and Sung Gyoo and Doo Tae. They look back on the life they have lived so far when Doo Tae one day finds out the meaning of friendship and meets Sung Gyoo Yoo Ri, the daughter of his first love, Han So Ri. They go to Dok-do with a new take.
