Synopsis Korean Movie Moo-hyun, the Story of Two Cities
Moo-hyun, the Story of Two Cities

Raw Moo-hyun is Carton, the lawyer from Charles Dickens' novel "The Story of Two Cities". Like Carton who died for Danny, we lost Raw Moo-hyun. It's been 7 years since his death. How do we remember him from the past?
"Moo-hyun, the Story of Two Cities" is the first documentary movie about ex-president Roh Moo-hyun and about how he wishes for a 'world for people' implies on us. It is the best of time and the worst of cases. It is a time of wisdom and a time of foolishness. It is the time of faith and time of distrust. It is a time of light and a time of darkness. It's the autumn of hope and the winter of despair. It's all to us and nothing. We were all going to heaven and we were all going the other way.
While writer Kim Won-myeong was thinking hard about the injustice happening around the world, he thought about the time he met Roh Moo-hyun, his father's friend when he was young. Drawing into the seventh year of his death, Won-myeong sets out to make friends with Moo-hyun in the past. The movie is based on Yeong-nam and Ho-nam, two cities that trace back the steps of Roh Moo-hyun who poured out his passion on the progress of these ares and breaking authoritarianism. We understand the movie through the words of those who remember him.
