Synopsis Korean Movie End Of Animal

A woman is led through a post-apocalyptic nation by a stranger who has supernatural powers in this science-fiction drama by South Korean filmmaker Jo Sung-Hee. Soon a child is expecting a baby and wants to visit her mother, so she takes a taxi from home in Seoul. On the way, the driver stops to take a pickup that is more than unusual - he knows everything over soon young and the driver a stranger should not know, and he tells them that a global disaster is imminent. Minutes later, the global power grid collapsed, mobile phones stopped working, the Hitcher disappeared and the word began to turn into a state of primitive savagery. The young boy and the driver are trying to make their way through the new, unforgiving landscape in search of an outpost that should only be up the road, but seems to move farther and farther away. Along the way, they are accompanied by a series of unwelcome strangers, and Soon-young receives messages from the pickup who predicted everything. End Of Animal was an official selection at the 2010 BFI London Film Festival.
