It is a moment after sunset, when it is so dark, you can not say if the animal is a dog or a wolf in front of your eyes. In French, this moment is called "time between dog and wolf" (Entre chien et loup). It is a worrying time when the difference between reality and illusion becomes indeterminate, a time that raises questions about life. A filmmaker then returns to his hometown a 25-year absence. There he meets a woman who has long searched for her lost sibling. As they explore the city together, the filmmaker faces his losses and understands what he had to lose in the future.
