Synopsis Korean Movie Farewell my darling
Farewell, sweetheart

A humorous film about the traditional Korean way of mourning the dead. Ironically, the funeral home is full of rigor and liveliness. When the old park dies, all the relatives scattered throughout the country come to his house in the country. Boxes of all kinds of alcohol pile up like mountains and the abandoned village is suddenly full of liveliness like a marketplace. Parks woman is silent other people make noise - talk or cry aloud. All relatives are busy looking for their own interest. The younger son sings Christian songs while holding Buddhist prayers. Parks sister tries to sell as many insurance packages as possible to the relatives and friends who mourn here. Park's half-brother and young wife shock everyone. The people who gather for the funeral of the dead seem to be too busy to pay the least attention to the deceased.
