Nan Na lives with his grandmother in Gugyul-li, a small coastal town. In the year he turns four, Nan Na becomes confused by the sudden appearance of his sister, Oh Gi. His grandma forces him to take care of his new little sister, and he begins to hate her because he can no longer play war games. As Oh Gi gets older, she develops a hump due to malnutrition.
