This movie features the intertwined lives of Jong Mi, Mi Kyung, Jeong Ja, and Hee Bun as they work at a sewing factory in Guro Industrial Complex in Seoul. The workers carry with them the wounds of societal betrayal and are tired bodies covered in grease but they want to be treated as humans as they struggle for respect in the smoke of the industrial complex.
