Jo Gu, a street magician, encounters a miserable girl, Yu Ri, during one of his performances, and she brings the inspiration for his "horror magic show" to a close model girlfriend. Yu Ri starts to work as an extra on the show, but the darkness in her, which is the purpose of her teammate, prevents her from really getting in touch with other people. Jo Gus's attempt to involve her during the meal becomes a disaster when she becomes blindly drunk. Jo Gu calls Yu Ri the next morning, but when the phone is disconnected with a strange sound, he starts to worry. When Jo Gu finds her, she confesses the long story behind her gray, pale face. Ever since she survived a car accident in high school, Yu Ri has seen the spirits of dead classmates and her one-time best friend Joo Hee. Joo Hee is a ghost who follows her everywhere, scares the people around her and leaves her completely isolated. Even Yu Ri's family eventually fled and left her to live alone in a tent, sometimes talking to a friend on the phone. In the course of Jo Gu's failed attempts to find lonely Yu Ri, a friend she gives up on the idea of her lonely life is best in the grand scheme of things. And even though Jo Gu is sometimes afraid of herself, the couple develops a sense of each other. Joo Hee is now consumed with jealousy and becomes a threat during the show. She asks Yu Ri to join her family to rescue Jo Gu. Will it be so easy to get away, or does Joo Hee have more tricks up his sleeve?
