Cha Do-kyung was an "it girl" during her school days and the center of attention. She was surrounded by admirers and admirers thanks to her looks and her wealthy family background. On the other hand, Jiang Gong-sim, Do-kyung's friend, who in every way lagged far behind Do-kyung, felt inferior in her childhood. Do-kyung's fortuitous one-night stand with Bong-hee, the then friend of Gong-shim, however, led to an unwanted pregnancy, which resulted two marry.

At the age of 17, Do-kyung became an ordinary housewife with 3 children and a man who had no worries, while Gong-shim later became a famous ballet dancer. Their opposite situation brought them into conflict with each other and ended with Hyun-woo, who fell in love with Do-kyung as a boy. Will Hyun-woo be torn between the two women, will he stay with his first love, who has become the wife of another man, or will he marry Gong-Shim, the ugly duckling that turns into a beautiful swan?
