Jung Se Ro is a diligent young man who does several part-time jobs while studying for a foreign official. His father is a small criminal and a swindler, and his family lives a temporary life due to his business and is currently staying in Thailand.
Despite living an honest life for themselves, Se Ros's dreams are shattered on the night of a glamorous jewelery show in Bangkok. His father dies In a stolen diamond incident and because Se Ro was on site when another man was shot dead, he is charged with murder and arrested. After spending five years in a Thai prison, after his release, he takes on a new identity and, like his father, becomes a fraudster.
